This woman was one of the people demonstrated how pioneers lived during Pioneer Days at Vigo County, Indiana’s Fowler Park. The pie is a recipe from Sarah Bush Lincoln, stepmother of Abraham Lincoln. The demonstrator also gave some very good points to n how to connect the top pieces of crust to the bottom crust so that the juices didn’t spill out.
