Heard a carol, mournful, holy,
Chanted loudly, chanted lowly,
Till her blood was frozen slowly,
And her eyes were darken’d wholly,
Turn’d to tower’d Camelot.
For ere she reach’d upon the tide
The first house by the water-side,
Singing in her song she died,
The Lady of Shalott.

This photo gets its inspiration from Tennyson\'s epic poen The Lady Of Shalott. I took this in my bathtub which I filled partially with milk and dumped in a ton of ribbons and roses from the garden. Geoff helped me by being my shutter release; I was afraid I\'d electrocute myself if I tried to do it myself with my remote in the bathtub.

I wanted this to be a more impressionistic photo, in a way... not so much an illustration of one part of the poem, or the Lady\'s life, but more an overall summery of it.
