Incredible use of focus and composition, Pam . . . not to mention wonderful images of the mother rhino and her calf! Really love this one!

Awwwww.......thank you so much!!! It was "fun" trying to keep the focus on that little face, with all of the high grasses all around him/her! This little one was so curious about us....he kept looking at us, but smartly stayed near his/her Mom. We watched these two for at least 2 hours....and there was never a boring minute. It was so amazing to see Rhino's!! : )

Thank you so much!!! And I agree!!!!.......people need to be educated and cultural myths destroyed about that "Horn"........so they can stop the senseless slaughter!!! Breaks my heart that these amazing creatures are killed just to saw off that horn to sell on the black market !!! Grrrrrr.................

Hi Pamela....yes, the calf is interested in you. I find grizzly cubs very curious as well. They have yet to fear us. This is a tremendous lesson in focusing. Amazing really...
