I had the privilege of shooting cotton harvest in the fall of 2014. It was something to be there when the blooms were still pink, just before the boll begins to develop, until that last field was picked. I watched in amazement at technology and skill that it took to ensure all of the cotton would be in the best condition to haul to the gin. I shot this image just after the tractor had made his last pass of the year to ready the field to lay fallow during winter. This photo makes me feel very calm.
