Love this shot! Up close and personal.

I've been thinking a lot about why you would say it is personal. Many, many things crossed my mind but everytime I end up thinking that a huge thing made of steel can't be "personal" or intimate. No matter how close to it you want to be you will always find it great, solid, stunning, overwhelming but too different from you to say it is personal. I'm really interested in what you found there.

Thank you for your appreciation! It means a lot - I'm a beginner at photography so your interest in my picture is very important to me :)

Interesting shot. I love trains. Is the engine working and where is it?

Thanks. When I was a kid I used to visit my grandma for summer holidays where she lived by a train station. This picture was taken a few kilometres away from that place in one of the last operating roundhouses in Europe in Wolsztyn, Poland. I think this particular engine is not working and is just an exhibit. You can see its silhouette in one of my other pictures.
Thanks for visiting here :)
