The bridge of oil is the name by which the badaloneses refer to the jetty built by the ancient CAMPSA in the sixties and used as unloading dock until 1990. The jetty juts about 250 meters, up to about 12 meters deep, on a open beach environment free of obstacles. These features and its easy accessibility make it a unique and of great scientific interest infrastructure to study the marine environment and the sedimentary, dynamics comparable with other existing infrastructures around the world (Scripts and Superduck, the US or Japan HORS and TOP ).
