My son, at 15 months, his very first true "hike." We took him to a nice, paved, quarter mile trail and he walked the whole thing by himself! When he got down to the overlook, he rested his arms on the rail and just gazed out over The Linville Gorge, admiring what will become his playground for a lifetime.
