Cbries, sure I've been shooting wildlife and photography for 45 years yours is one of six that were clearly Superior to the photo that one it's a joke I'm so sorry that you didn't place in that position in my mind you are the winner and I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way maybe we should approach should get together and read designate that one or two an appropriate photo the one that one is a nice shot and it's cute but it is no way superior to yours and several others this is not the first time this has happened and if it keeps up I'm canceling my membership and moving to a more worthy site this site has many magnificent photographers and you are one of them again I'm sorry you didn't win it's just a personal feeling that some of these contests need to have more opinions than one judge was some kind of an agenda I don't know what have a wonderful day and keep putting out this beautiful art we really enjoy it

I am not a pro, however I go with what strikes my heart and makes me look twice. Love the purple and green against the red. Just a stunningly detailed piece of work!
