It is said that Glaslyn lake is where Arthur's sword of Excalibur lays after Bedever threw it into the lake. On the foothill of Snowdon, the highest mountain in the UK outside of the Scottish Highlands.
It is also believed that Arthur was placed on a boat on Glaslyn after he died where he drifted to Afallon (island of fruit) and that no bird dare fly over the lake.
