I agree with Pilot - in that I wish the bottom wasn't cut off - but it's a very beautiful and graceful creature! Is this taken through glass or under water?

Critique: I love the subject... an aquarium shot of jellyfish, as I have been trying to capture successfully in the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga. You have filled the frame with this subject but I question whether it might have been better as a vertical shot with much more ot the jellyfish at the bottom. It is also not sharp (as are none of mine) probably because of the lighting conditions. More on that in a bit.

You have an older super zoom camera, and your settings of f2.8 (shallow DOF) and shutter of 1/40 sec are marginal for capturing this . for ISO 222, this is quite good in terms of noise, but the shallow DOF and slow shutter speed (without image stabilization) hurt the quality a bit. I plan to go back with better equipment. So should you, as I love this subject.
