My best friend was doing the "Camino de Santiago", from his hometown in Belgium down to Santiago, around 2000+ km walking for 3 month, so I decided to join him for support, trekking and kind of self meditation, which I really needed at that time. This shot was taken in Donostia, Basque Country, where we met. The whole town gives an impression of quietness and openness. I think the beach, which almost has the shape of the golden number, helps with the sentiment of peaceness you get there. The one wave that breaks on the shell shaped beach leaves geometric marcs in the sand. This picture I took before taking the plane back to my hometown, reflects part of the resentment I had there upon arrival and on our short stay in Donostia.
