We were hicking and camping with two friends through south Norway and planned to hike the Preikestolen, famous cliff down in Lysefjord. We intended to sleep on the cliff or its surrounding so we started the trekking from Lysefjord in the late afternoon to enjoy and take pictures of the sunset. The way up was kind of stiff, especially with our 15+kg backpacs we had prepared for the rest of the trip. At the turnout just before reaching the cliff, the sun taking his long way down (eternal day in norway during the summer), the view was allready astonishing all the way up, but at this turn out the cliff was there, diving deep and virtiginously into the fjord, people on it so small in the far, the colour of the water so blue, the sky so coloured and textured as well as the rock for that last part part, and on top of that a rainbow right where I wouldn't had it planned otherwise. I told myself "Ok my trip goal is fulfilled, whatever the goal was! ". I took some pictures of my friends upon arrival and rapidly set up to take this picture. Which I believe to be one of the best of the trip.
