One of a series of images taken at Buffalo, NY USA's Colonel Ward Pumping Station. This station is a turn of the century building that houses the old steam powered pumps that supplied Buffalo with it's water. Five of these behemoths remain along with the electric pumps that now do their job. There is an amazing industrial era feel to the place as it was built in the WWI era.
