Finally the new moon arrived. An excellent time to photograph the Milky Way. The weather forecast promised clear sky but unfortunately small clouds were equally presents. In the afternoon I went to the volcano Etna with some friends and with them we followed the the path that leads to the "Rifugio Galvarina." About six and a half kilometers alternated between forests and solified lava where you could breath mountain air.
Unfortunately, the Milky Way was not visible as I expected, so I decided to make a startrails instead. The startrails didn't turn out well because I put in wrong parameters, but I had the luck to catch the trail of a comet.
