Even though I’ve crossed and seen this bridge countless times I have never have shot here until the other day. After taking the short hike up to the boulders me and my furry friend sat up there for hours while watching the light unfold and the hundreds of people passing thru for their quintessential shot (including myself) of the Linn Cove Viaduct.

While out shooting the Milky Way at Oak Island, NC the clouds came and found myself moving under the hurricane crippled pier.

The clouds opened up for only a couple minutes to be able to get this shot off while I found this driftwood and cool patterns in the sand.

Someone just had to stop and get a photo of this. Taken at Jennette's Pier in Nags Head - Outer Banks (NC) during sunrise.
