One set of my classic books. The bronzed shoes are mine from when I was a toddler, so they are about 75 years old. Note the Encyclopedia Britannica volumes in the background. When I moved from Connecticut in 2013, I tried to donate them to the local library. The library did not want them because, even back then, everyone was searching for information online.

Nice! My mother would have appreciated this photo. She was a big fan of Mark Twain’s writings. We even visited Hannibal, MO one year on vacation to see the sites featured in his books.

I like a lot of his quotes too. I lived in Connecticut for about 44 years and visited the Mark Twain house in Hartford.
