The great photographer, Robert Doisneau, once said- "A hundredth of a second here, a hundredth of a second there - even if you put them end to end, they still only add up to one, two, perhaps three seconds, snatched from eternity". A droplet survives for a fraction of a second. If you are lucky enough to get a focus and a click in that moment, you steal its beauty and lock it away. The droplet keeps adding joy to your life long after it has ceased to exist. The same is true for our lives. The interlude from the baby's first cry to the tears at his funeral are nothing more than a miniscule dot on the time scale of human civilisation. Our actions, however, have an extended life. Let us learn from this droplet and try to make a long-lasting and soothing impact on mankind.
