I was photographing on the plains in the Ngorongoro Crater just as a herd of buffalo were walking to a stream. As we passed in the jeep a pattern gradually revealed, the buffalo herding in a long line. I had to shout to get the driver to stop and back up to the perfect position, just where the lines were forming beautiful angles across the plain.
