This photograph was taken just one minute before Jamie's devastating crash that red flagged the race on the second lap.

Jamie was airlifted to Nobles hospital in serious but stable condition with severe head, leg and arm injuries.

Tragically, Dr John Hinds known as one of the so-called "flying doctors" of Irish road racing, who treated Jamie at the scene of the accident, died in an accident while providing medical cover at a Skerries 100 practice session on July 4th 2015 in Ireland.
