This was taken in Kootenay National Park BC at Marble Canyon. My Husband and I came across a couple taking some ice climbing lessons from a friend. The ice falls were a good 5 stories tall and about 3 meters thick. This guy needed to take a rest half way up. They told us the hardest part was holding your arms above your head for long periods while climbing.
