While on a whale watching tour in Seward, Alaska, we were shocked to see Orca whales jumping out of the water! Even the crew on the ship had never seen such behavior by Orcas! It was a very windy day which made my tasks of holding on, staying upright and capturing the shot all frightening given that I am partially disabled. Added to the wind and the waves, was the torrential downpour of rain, but it was worth it in the end, don't you think? Such beauty and grace by these huge mammals.
