One of those heart stopping encounters. We were in a boat on our way into Moremi. The boat had just pushed off from the jetty and the engine had not been started. Then this big fella just slowly edges out of the papyrus, gives us a look and continues on his way. Think I got about 5-6 shots off, with a few of him facing us full on with his ears wide open.
