I just love the colours and textures of these two. The Crow's Ash seed pod comes from the Australian Native Rain Forest Tree known as Australian Teak or Crow's Ash (Flindersia Australis) named after Australian Explorer Matthew Flinders. The seed pods resemble wooden star fish and are often used in Native flower arrangements. I have a display basket full of the assorted cones and gum nuts on our coffee table.
The Gum Nuts are from our Pink Flowering Gum Trees, growing in our back yard.
