Pacific Warbird

This B-25 Mitchell flew in the Pacific theater of WWII. The nose art was done by professional civilian artist, talented amateur servicemen and even Disney. The bombs on the nose of the plane tells how many missions they flew. The train below the bombs says that they successfully took out a train. The two Japanese flags just above Executive represents how many Japanese aircraft the nose gunner shot down. The single Japanese flag above the painted girl's head shows how many Japanese aircraft the pilot shot down. The top turret at the top of the aircraft you can barely see three Japanese flags representing how many aircraft the top gunner shot down. There are also Japanese flags next to the tail gunner representing how many aircraft the tail gunner shot down. So looking at a bomber, in this case, you get a detailed history of what that aircraft successfully completed.
