I submitted this image recently, but on the advice of a more experienced VB photographer, I cropped it closer and re-submitted it. She is right in her assessment that cropping will bring the pup closer to the viewer.

She is a newly adopted pup and she was probably a bit overwhelmed by her new, busy environment. It is about a month later and she is quite comfortable now.
