Laferla Cross is an early 20th-century religious landmark on the outskirts of Siggiewi, in Malta. It stands on a hill close to the Chapel of the Annunciation and the Cemetery of Saint Theodore. It was built to commemorate the Holy Year of 1900 and got its name from the man on whose initiative it was constructed – Revd Paul Laferla. There is a small chapel hidden in the huge limestone pedestal which supports the cross. It is open during Easter time so all the pilgrims can walk in and say their prayers. It is one of the highest viewpoints in Malta, about 200 meters above the sea level. This image was taken from Buskett Gardens.
