What do you do when you own a piece of history, and deterioration finally reaches a point where diminishing integrity of the building becomes a safety issue!
The Bank of Vernal, built in the early 1900’s, was constructed of bricks sent by mail, the mail being the least expensive option to get the bricks here! Around 37 tons of bricks, one brick, one parcel!
The building is essentially being torn down, everything goes but the brick exterior, and rebuilt within that shell, allowing it to still maintain its historic value!
