The Flying Scotsman is one of 4 diesel-hydraulic locomotives built in the early 1930's for the North Bay Railway Company. This miniature railway line has a gauge of 20 in and runs for 7/8 mile between Northstead Manor Gardens and Scalby Mills in the North Bay. I seem to remember this engine being called Neptune when I was small.
