Abstract street photography captured for the This Week in Photo/Street Photography challenge in November 2015. To get abstract street photo I looked for relatively bland and linear background in front of which some motion may occur and street life may make an abstract painting of itself through the blur. Camera was set to low ISO and small aperture so that exposure would be long and both capture blurred motion and somewhat smear background (handheld camera). I found most pleasing background for this purpose to be in proper focus but smeared by camera shake while perfectly in focus (with tripod) or intentionally out of focus proved not to be in harmony with the blurred motion and abstract photo intent. Of many subjects that passed by I found this cyclist to capture the most of my original intent.
