Congratulations Grand Jury Winner "Silky Water" by MarvinEvasco17

"A beautiful and fresh angle of Niagara Falls is the Grand Jury Winner for the Water In B&W competition. A well balanced composition with the edge of the falls leading the eye into the image. The softness of the long exposure works well, and this image is well suited to the black and white processing with silky tones and a equally good balance of contrast allowing you to explore this image with no visual distractions." - Mark Gee

Congratulations Runner Up "Outer Worldly" by zachsanders

"I really love this image and it was a hard choice between this and the Grand Jury Winner. The photo feels cinematic with its film like black and white processing, and the subject matter is surreal in it’s nature. The image almost makes me feel uncomfortable, yet calm at the same time as the model floats lifeless just beneath the surface of the water. The directional lighting and caustics works well, as does the use of vignetting to allow your eye to focus on the subject." - Mark Gee

Congratulations Runner Up "White water" by olivierlw

"It’s always fun to set up these type of shots in a controlled studio environment, but it’s not always easy to get a as good result - however this photograph has achieved that result. The high shutter speed freezes the moment and the intricate details of the water displacing the surface and water droplets are captured beautifully. Lovely black and white processing with nice contrast levels allowing all the details to be well balanced and to sit well within the image." - Mark Gee

Congratulations Runner Up "Go With the Flow" by Nishant-101

"I really like how this image looks like a illustration with it’s high contrast black and white processing approach. The long exposure with the cascading waterfalls and flowing river works really well, as does the composition allowing the eye to flow along with the directional flow of the river." - Mark Gee
