We’re unpacked from our Lofoten, Norway. An epic adventure, and all we can say is “WOW!” The dream began months ago in our San Diego office, where the endless number of gorgeous images on ViewBug inspired us to push ourselves creatively and support others’ passion for photography. Luckily, two amazing photographers (and friends) Henry Nathan and Alex Stead agreed to join us on this epic adventure.
Lofoten is genuinely one of the most incredible places we've been to, from its unpredictable weather to its stunning mountain scenery.
We met with two more awesome photographers ollienordh and Victor Bergstedt. Ollie's Land Rover helped us create beautiful shots and massively added to the scenery replacing our 90's small people carrier. We ended the trip watching the Northern lights, which if you have not done so, we highly recommend you to plan a trip around this experience.
Getting there wasn't easy and the blizzards made it hard for us to drive around and go out and shoot (it was mid-February after all), but that didn’t slow us down. We had a blast shooting, even without the best gear. It was a good reminder to soak up the moment!
We’ have seen amazing images of Lofoten, but it did little to prepare us for the incredible beauty. Visiting the north of Norway is probably a little like visiting another planet.

Lofoten, Norway might not be on everyone’s bucket list, but adventures lie around every corner if you are open to explore.
