ViewBug and Wemark collaborate to expand opportunities for over 2 Million photographers around the world.
We’re excited to announce our new partnership with Wemark, a new platform that takes a different approach to stock photography. Wemark empowers photographers to license their photos directly to customers over the blockchain, without a middleman.
Our partnership comes as an interesting time in the evolution of stock photography. Wemark’s use of blockchain facilitates direct transactions between creators and customers without intermediaries.
With Wemark, creators reclaim control over their images, benefit from transparency, and can make more money. Our partnership will help our 2 million photographers gain access to Wemark’s unique platform, and have the opportunity to license their work in an environment that uniquely respects the value of their craft, and in turn, fairly compensates them.
