Swiss photographer Jessica Keller with broncolor produced a series of 4 videos, illustrating different styles to implement the new compact unit Siros in your photography.

If you ever tried to combine flashlight with candle light you know what a flash unit needs to satisfy the requirements: You must be able to lower the power down to nothing more but a few joules. Check out "Catching the Light - Episode 1" to learn about low light flash photography.

In the second episode of "Caching the Light", Jessica explains, how to shoot sharp action sport pictures and freeze movements, which are invisible to the human eye. She uses powerful and rather harsh light shapers and shoots with very short flash durations.

After two indoor shootings, the team around Jessica enjoyed the summer during a fashion shoot in a forest. Location, styling, model and a fog machine created a scene like out of a fairytale. A huge soft box provided the beautiful soft light she wanted.

For the last episode of "Catching the Light" Jessica Keller returned to the studio and invited two dancers. Beside the short flash durations provided by the Siros she had a huge benefit from the short recycling times - she was able to shoot a lot of pictures as in the short time frame that the dancers were in the perfect position. The setup was quite large and some of the lights were on high stands - especially the assistant was happy that all the lights could be controlled with the bronControl app.

To wrap it up have a look how a catalogue shot is produced in the Broncolor studios. In episode 10 of their how to videos, broncolor's Urs Recher and Karl Taylor explain, how a lighting set up for an advanced product shot is done. Step by step. So you not only see how to shot with Siros, but also how to shoot a Siros.
