If I was able to wish for a slight improvement, I’d love to have seen Joe move to the left a little, and have the runway going straight down the center of the photo, perhaps even lining up the moon even more perfectly. "The little girl is a great subject, and the look of intent on her face is wonderful. At first glance, I felt I wanted to see her eyes more, but then the dog’s eyes come into sight, and satisfy that desire. The expression on the dog’s face is marvelous as well. And, the balls and pillars of light in the background add a magical feeling as the icing on the cake." - Martin Bailey

"This one brought a smile to my face. I love the idea and creativity in this shot. It took a moment to figure out what was happening, and I like working for my rewards. The alignment of both the bowl and the chopstick holding the ball of bokeh is great. I think I’d have perhaps liked to be able to see the surface on which the bowl is sitting just very slightly, rather than having the bowl sitting in mid air, but that’s the only minus point." - Martin Bailey
