Fabulous Foliage Photo Contest Winners

Thank you to all the photographers that shared their best photos showing a collection of leaves and plants in the Fabulous Foliage Photo Contest in collaboration with NANPA!

A special thanks to friend and professional photographer Brenda Tharp for her collaboration as a guest judge. Brenda Tharp has spent the past 30 years honing her artistic vision and skills. Her nature and travel photographs appear in a variety of magazines, books, ads, and brochures, for clients that include British Gas, Chronicle, Chicago Natural History Museum, National Geographic, Nature Conservancy, National Park Service and Sierra Club, to name a few. Her fine art prints are sold through interior designers and gallery events. Brenda has written many articles on photography for print and online magazines including Apogee, Nature Photographer, and Outdoor Photographer. Her popular book “Creative Nature and Outdoor Photography” is in its third printing.

"This was such a fun and creative idea with a dog that worked for the colors! My dog wouldn’t have…I love how we see her face first, and then suddenly realize her paws are not leaves! Fun. I would eliminate that one white paw, though, as it works so well with just her face and two front paws!" - Brenda Tharp
