For this contest we invited you to show dark and misty forests. There are tens of thousands of forests considered "dark" throughout the world that incorporate factors such as tree density and tree heights. From your backyard to forests in remote areas, you showed us how you capture their beauty.
A big thank you to guest judge Alexia Meercado. Alexia started taking photos at the age of 17. In college she realized that her real passion was photography, so she decided to study it. While studying it, she began to see it as a mean of an intimate expression, a feeling in which I could feel freedom. "Photography has allowed me to appreciate every moment I capture.
