1. KristasClick, where did you take this photo?

I took this photo of a graduate ready to take on her future!

2. What time of day?

I love the lighting about half an hour before the sun sets for the evening.

3. Anything worth sharing about lighting?

My favorite time of day to shoot is just as the sun is coming up & just as it is going down.

4. What equipment did you use?

I used a Canon Rebel Xt for this shot with an 18-55 lens.

5. What inspired you to take this photo?

Graduating from high school, moving on to college can be a daunting yet exciting time in ones life. We never know where the road will lead until we take the next step. That was my theme of this photo.

6. Did you do any post-processing? if yes, tell us about it!

I changed my photo to black and white, keeping just the stark colors reflecting the vibrant future this young lady has yet to experience.

7. What equipment do you normally have in your bag?

I'm a Canon girl, through and through

8. Any advice for others trying to capture something similar?

My best advice to give any new photographer is angles, angles, angles! For this shot, I was laying on the ground. I adore changing up perspective! It adds so much flavor to what could be classified as a typical shot.
