If you’re like most ViewBug addicts, you’ve probably tried many features in the website. We're thrilled to announce the ViewBug iOS app and with the initial flurry of excitement, chances are you can overlook some pretty handy tricks in the process.
With ViewBug's new iOS app (Android coming soon) you can join contests, read blog posts and follow photographers. These are just a few of the many features you can find when you download the app.
1. Never Miss A Photo
You're probably following your favorite photographers and try to keep track of their uploads. With the App you can now get a notification every time one of your favorite photographers uploads a new photo.
2. A New Way To Vote
Let's be honest, we all love voting on our favorite photos. The app now brings a new and fun way to do it. Swipe right if you like a photo and swipe up to super vote on a photo.
3. Upload Options
Upload photos directly from your phone library, take a photo with your phone's camera or even import photos from your Instagram account. Three seamless ways to upload your images and share them with the community.
4. Extensive Search
Good news for those who are interested in specific tags or content. You can now do a search by tags, people and contests. Basically, it’s a new and improved version of our web search that will allow you to find more content relevant to what you want to see.
5. Share And Invite
Picture this: You just uploaded a photo and want to share it, you find an article you love and wish someone else could read it or, you want more friends to see your ViewBug profile. Well, you can! The iOS App has an easy sharing feature within most sections in the App.
