Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on a boat cruise in Arcachon Bay, France.

Time

It was in the afternoon. It was a two hour boat cruise around the bay.

Lighting

It was a party cloudy day over the bay. I took this shot while the sunlight was diffused by the clouds that made the colors jump.

Equipment

Iphone XS Max

Inspiration

The whale tail just screamed to be photographed. For those of you that have had the good fortune to go on a whale watching boat trip know that as whales dive their tails are always that last thing you see entering the water. This was my inspiration as it looked so real sans the colors.

Editing

None.

In my camera bag

My bag usually contains one to two DSLR, extra batteries, extra lenses and sometimes a tripod. Plus cards, filters and cleaning gear.
