Behind The Lens

Location

In my garden in Trinidad. The little hummingbird was sitting quietly in my cherry tree trying to shelter from the rain!

Time

The photo was taken at approximately 11.30 a.m. just after a heavy rainfall.

Lighting

It was dull ( no sun), as there had just been quite a heavy rainfall and the little fellow was trying to shelter from the rain!

Equipment

Canon Powershot SX40 HS; f/5.8; Exposure 1/80 sec; ISO 200; Focal length 150mm; Metering mode Pattern; No flash

Inspiration

I like photographing birds... normally hummingbirds do not sit still and this little fellow was still for a very long time!

Editing

Cropping and minor light enhancing

In my camera bag

Camera, spare battery and charger, lens hood, tripod

Feedback

Photograph anything that catches your eye!!!
