Lighting

This was 3 point lighting. I wanted the rim light to be on the same side as the key light so as to make it feel more like the light was coming from the left.

Equipment

Sony A7iii, Godox studio lights, deep octabox, fill light bounced off v-flat, rim softened.

Inspiration

I wanted to create an image that felt black and white without using greyscale.

Editing

I retouched the skin, desaturated the oranges, sharpened the eyes, put blue in the blacks and bright the overall yellows down.
