This photo was taken in my home studio in SC. This is my beautiful daughter. I am always constantly learning. This is one of my favorites.Time
This image was taken after school so about 4pm. Once the best things about having a home studio is being able to use it when ever you want.Lighting
With this image I wanted to show a side of my daughter's personality. The light was a kit I bought from B&H Photo. Excalibur 3200. Set on a low level, slaved second light. Did not cost a lot but works really well.Equipment
This was shot with my Nikon D7000, Nikkor 18-55 lens, and the Excalibur studio lights. Gold backdrop. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I was setting up for Valentines Day, my was in a good but playful mood. I decided it was a good time for some pictures of my daughter. My daughter, is photogenetic, she knows how to take a picture. I knew she was growing way to fast. One of the perks of being a photographer is being able to stop and take that picture and not let the chance pass you by. You blink and your children are grown. This particular pose was inspired from and old classic movie.Editing
When I first learned about photography, it was with film. You learned to get it right in the camera. and I still thing that is a good thing to do. Makes for less editing. This image has little to no post processing. Times and technology sure have changed, and that can be a good thing. In my camera bag
My camera bag had lots of things. first of course is my Nikon D7000. My lens consist of Nikkor 18-55, Nikkor 55-300, and Nikkor 1.8 28mm prime. I have my SB 800. I have batteries for my camera, flash, and flashlight. I have a flashlight, business cards, rubber bands, pennies, back up Scandisk SD card, and lens cleaning equipment.Feedback
