Behind The Lens

Location

I took a sea plane out from Ketchikan, Alaska to this this area where the bears were feeding on the Salmon

Time

Early morning left Ketchikan at about 7:30 AM and image was taken at 8:27 AM

Lighting

Lighting was natural morning light, day was overcast

Equipment

Camera was a Canon EOS 1D MkIII, lens EF 100-400 F/4.5-5.6, Focal Length was 350. Exposure 1/200 F/5.6 ISO 800 Camera was Hand held

Inspiration

Taking the bears feeding was a must for me on my trip to Alaska

Editing

Post processing was standard Lightroom/photoshop post processing

In my camera bag

Equipment I use today is the Canon EOS R6, Lens 16-35 F2.8, 28-70 F2.8, 70-200 F2.8, 1.5 extender, and RF600mm F11 fixed. Use a tripod or monopod as the situation calls.
