At the most westerly point on the Isle of Skye, Neist Point & its lighthouse projects into The Minch.

The lighthouse & surrounding dwellings were designed and built by David A Stevenson in 1909 at a cost of £4,350.
Today, the lighthouse operates automatically.

During the summer months, these coastal waters and cliffs are home to many hundreds of guillemots, razorbills, fulmars, kittiwakes and shags.
