Thank you to everyone for all the love given to this fun capture!! This is one of my favorites too! I have it blown up in a 16x20 and first thing you see when coming in our home! My Huskers sadly has been diagnosed with stomach cancer a couple months back and so all the love he is receiving is heart warming!! Thank you all so very much!! ????

I went for a walk down a trail I don't normally go and found this gem!!

I took this photo a couple weeks later she passed away.
It was so sudden as she was a healthy girl so we thought.
Her being featured is such a gift,

Much needed rain fell and so I ran out as soon as it stopped to snap some rain kissed flowers!

Husker is always willing to pose for me!

I brought this outside and caught the late afternoon sun coming in from the side which was peeking behind some wispy clouds.

After playing in the park with my pup I shot some pictures! BTW, I am always looking for CC too!

As I sit in my backyard this early morning I was blessed by the beauty in front of me!

In with a taste of colorful leaves and out with the tasty summer fruit!

Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken during my daughters prom photo shoot at a local rose garden. I cherish this now today more than ever as Husker has passed a couple weeks back.

Time

It was late afternoon prior to sunset.

Lighting

Not really, it was a bright afternoon with harsh light.

Equipment

Canon 5D Miv; Canon EF 24-105mm f4L IS and handheld.

Inspiration

Kate was loving on Husker and so happy he was there…I was able to capture this for their pic together and now she is cherishing it as the sweet memory it was!

Editing

I honestly don’t remember what I did aside from playing around trying to find what struck me the most to find what made that the photo it is.

In my camera bag

Canon R5 that replaces my 5D Miv, various canon L lenses depending on what I’m photographing. Also some filters, vanguard tripod, xtra batteries and extra CF express cards.

Feedback

Always keep your camera and lens on the lookout for those rare moments that are but only a second in time that will always take your breath away once it’s on your wall or others. Random, unplanned and surprising moments are some of the best shots ever!
