Life can be a little more fun , even when taking part in the most dreary or mundane activities , if you take the time to observe the things around you with a creative eye and from a different perspective. The humble gas valve , for example , my appear as one ugly object on top of another ugly object kept for necessity rather than aesthetics , until you take the time to notice that the symbols of direction upon it create a cheeky , winking smiling clown face. Then , it can become something that you actively take the time to look at whenever you pass and be one of those vital little things of whimsy that put a smile on your face .
