Location
This photo was taken at my favourite location on PEI - Covehead Harbour. I spent many summers teaching the National Surf Lifeguard course here, and I noticed we were having a beautiful winter sky so headed there to take some photos.
Time
This photo was taken fairly close to sunset, with the many purples and pinks in the sky just as the sun was going down.
Lighting
The lighting is all natural and the sky was unedited. I am more a fan of using what is produced in the camera when I am shooting landscapes then over editing.
Equipment
I used the Canon 5D mark if and my 24-105mm lens with a circular polarizing filter. This shot was taken using my Vanguard tripod.

Inspiration
I was looking to get some shots of places on the Island frequented in the summer and their splendour that is so often missed as we tuck ourselves away in the winter.
Editing
I did no post processing on this photo other than a few Raw adjustments in photoshop, that is why I was so happy with it.
In my camera bag
I always pack my canon 5D Mark iV, which ever lens or two I will want, always my 24-105 f4.0 and my 85mm 1.4 prime. I always take my graduated ND filters for each lens I am carrying as well as a circular polarizing filter for each lens.
Feedback
Shoot what you love and find its splendour in every season. You never know what you might be missing
