Location
This photo was taken from Camp 9A along the Coastal Gas Link. It was early morning, and I am always out before the guys working the line and enjoying the early morning light with my camera. I sit and stare at this mountain every day from my office and noticed the beautiful gold colour that appeared not he trees almost overnight. The clouds providing shadows to the mountain giving it an ominous look, knowing the grizzlies were up there getting ready for winter, it brought peace to a hectic work rotation.Time
This photo was taken around 5:30am, on an overcast day.Lighting
I wish I could take credit for the lighting but that is all owed to Mother Nature for this photo. It was just as seen in the photo, probably the most natural photo I have ever taken without any adjustments.Equipment
I used my canon Eos 5d mark iv and my 24-70mm lens, hand held as I hadn't been to the office yet to grab my tripod, or any filters that I planned on playing with that day.Inspiration
Just look at the scenery, I was inspired by taking stalk and seeing what a beautiful location I work in and at the beauty of the yellows that literally appeared overnight.Editing
The only this I did during post processing was reset the white point in camera raw adobe photoshop. In my camera bag
My kit is always the same at work, my canon 5d mark iv, canon primes 50 and 85, as well as my 24-70mm and my Tamaron 150-600mm and my cheap aluminum tripodFeedback
Stop and look at the same things you look at every day, someday it will inspire a photo you will really enjoy, even if other's don't.
