Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in the Netherlands in a studio.

Time

Sunday morning because of the traffic Belgium- Netherlands

Lighting

I used two umbrella's at about 45¨° each to the model.

Equipment

I used my trusted canon 5DmkII with a 24-70mm 2.8 lens

Inspiration

I saw this sofa in the studio, but I didn't like the background. Careful cropping (also in post) avoided the black background except in the right top corner of the frame.

Editing

Basic postprocessing in LR, Luminar AI and PS - during lockdown I took a long look at older photos.

In my camera bag

Then Canon, now Sony, because Canon waited too long to go mirrorless. A7RIII (much better than my A7RII), 85mm G-master, 55mm.

Feedback

Don't be afraid to use a studio with a pro model Look for opportunities Don't make the lighting too complicated.
