Not very often you see this in my town so had to take pics

newest tenant that moved in on my front porch lol

I was sitting on front porch smoking when it was pouring out and was fooling around with the settings on the camera on my phone figuring things out well at least trying to.

he's been hanging around on my front porch for a few weeks so I named him Fred, he's waiting to catch a bite to eat lol

Behind The Lens

Location

On my front porch of my apt in Maine in the USA.

Time

It was in the morning early, I was outside smoking my morning cigarette and I knew it was my friendly birds breakfast time so with one hand I took my phone opened the camera app up slowly reached forward and around the corner so it was just my phone showing a lil bit, my bird friends are camera shy lol and took the shot.

Lighting

It was a gloomy morning that day. I believe we where going to get a snow storm or ice storm, living in the new England states you never know what kind of weather your going to get at any time of the season lol. I let my cell phone camera take the picture naturally.

Equipment

I have a Motorola phone that has 3 cameras in the rear and a flash and 1 camera in the front.

Inspiration

I love taking pictures that call to me, I have bipolar 1 and medication alone isn't really working so taking photos is therapy it's a win win! Mostly I love scenery/landscape, animals, colorful skies/clouds, moon.

Editing

No not really, I just wait for something to call to me and then I take the shot. I do carry another camera with me it's a digital camera.

In my camera bag

When using my phone a charger and if I'm using my Canon I bring extra batteries. Can't change the lens (bummer)
